This was also done as an experiment to explore Rhino 3D.. but this render is an older one, where I sought to explore the capabilities of Rhino's built in renderer.. There's no rendering plugin used, so please excuse that horrible quality and the grey background!

Not bad!

Is this part of a larger project your working on?

I was originally planning to create a whole set of weapons for use in gaming, but I got caught up in daily work and was unable to do so. I've still got several unfinished models, but they bear no relation to each other in style, which would make it difficult to classify them as weapons belonging to the same civilization or faction for gaming purposes.
Will put them up as they get done.

Well hey if you ever get back into it... I am also a modeller and I also prefer the Sci-Fi settings for my work. Id be happy to look at your meshes.

Hey! Thanks for the reply, but I never knew people did artwork using Rhino.. meshes would be a little difficult, since Rhino uses NURBS, not meshes.. I'm absolutely clueless about mesh modelling, and Rhino doesn't convert to mesh too well either.. :(
